Designing in Dallas
What working in Dallas looks like
Dallas is many cities stitched together. A Preston Hollow renovation and an M Streets bungalow need entirely different design logic. A Design District showroom and a Lakewood family home use different material vocabularies. We treat each submarket on its own terms.
Our Dallas residential work concentrates in Preston Hollow, Highland Park, Bluffview, Lakewood, and the M Streets — homes where character, scale, and existing architecture deserve respect rather than erasure. On commercial work, the Design District and Uptown anchor most of our tenant buildouts. We do not chase downtown high-rise corporate work.
Our Flower Mound studio is roughly 30 minutes from North Dallas and 45 minutes from downtown. Site visits happen in person, not on FaceTime. For larger Dallas projects we plan full-day schedules — walk-through, trades meeting, vendor visits — so you're not paying for windshield time.

Dallas FAQ
Common questions
Do you take projects in Preston Hollow and Highland Park?+
Yes — both are core markets for us. Preston Hollow projects tend toward full-home scope; Highland Park work is often targeted kitchen, primary suite, and millwork refinement on homes with strong existing character.
What's your approach to older Dallas homes — the M Streets, Lakewood, Lake Highlands?+
We design around the existing architecture, not through it. A 1920s Tudor, a 1950s ranch, and a Lakewood Craftsman each have architectural vocabularies worth preserving — our role is usually to edit and elevate, not to erase.
Can you handle a commercial tenant buildout in the Design District?+
Yes. Our commercial work in Dallas concentrates in the Design District, Deep Ellum, and Uptown. We're familiar with the landlord delivery standards common in those districts.
How often will you be on site for a Dallas project?+
We schedule full-day site visits rather than partial drop-ins — typically every two to three weeks during active construction, more frequently during finish installation.
