Designing in Highland Village
What working in Highland Village looks like
Highland Village is small, tight-knit, and quietly one of the most enviable places in DFW to build a home. The lake changes how you think about a house: every sight line matters, every window is an opportunity, and the "best" room usually faces west.
We plan Highland Village interiors around the view first. Kitchens that open toward Lewisville Lake, primary suites that catch the evening light, dock-side covered patios that feel like an extension of the living room. Materials get chosen for humidity and boat-traffic reality, not just showroom appeal.
Most of our Highland Village work sits in the Enclave at Highland Shores, Mariner's Cove, and the older Highlands streets closer to Marina Drive. We travel to clients in Highland Village at no extra cost — our Flower Mound studio is ten minutes away.

Highland Village FAQ
Common questions
Do you design lakefront homes with views as the priority?+
Every Highland Village project starts with view analysis. We run sight lines from the primary living areas and adjust space planning before finish selections so the lake is the first thing you see when you enter a room, not the last.
Are you familiar with the HOA guidelines in the Enclave at Highland Shores?+
Yes. Most of the common HOA design review issues — exterior paint, window treatments visible from the street, exterior millwork — come up often enough that we build compliance into the first concept presentation.
Can you handle a dock-side or boathouse interior?+
We do. Covered outdoor spaces and boathouse interiors need materials that hold up to lake weather. We specify stain-stable woods, marine-grade textiles, and hardware that won't corrode.
Do you travel to Highland Village?+
Our studio is in Flower Mound, ten minutes away. Highland Village projects are local to us — no travel fees, same-week site visits are standard.
